In the survey, 10711 people from 301 districts responded. He was asked whether people have any plans to visit cinema halls or multiplexes in the next two months? On this question, 8 percent of the people said that they would go many times during this period. 2 percent of people are thinking of going to the cinema hall only once. 67 percent of people said that they have no plans to visit cinema halls or multiplexes in the next two months. Whereas 19 percent said that they do not watch pictures in cinema halls. Whereas, 4 percent have thought nothing yet.
Analyzing the total figures, there is only about 10 percent of the people who are planning to go to the cinema hall to watch the picture in the next two months. Local survey also conducted this survey in June to find out whether people’s travel plans have changed in the last month or so. In which 10,711 responses were received from citizens living in 301 districts of India.
This survey was also compared with the data from the survey conducted in June last month. In which it was found that 63% of the respondents in the survey were male, while 37% of the respondents were female. 43% of people were from Tier 1, 28% from Tier 2, and 29% respondents were from Tier 3, 4, and rural districts. In this, only 8 percent of the people had expressed their opinion of going to the cinema hall and watching the film. In the next two months i.e. August-September, this number has increased to 10 percent.
This survey has also revealed that there is enough awareness among the public about the contagious nature of corona virus. People also know that the virus can spread much more rapidly in indoor places. That’s why he is avoiding going to the cinema hall. In such a situation, the results of this survey indicate that even though many cinema halls will open in the country from August 1, still a large population is hesitant to go to the cinema hall.
