  • ‘Indiasize chart’ survey started, now Readymade garments market is going to change according to ‘India size’

If we go to buy clothes for ourselves, then there is a big problem about the size. Often, we and you see this, that the medium size clothes of US do not come from tall tall people of India. But now this problem is going to go away soon. Now such a survey is being done on the people of India, in which the country clothes will be made accordingly after taking measurements of the height of the Indians. On Thursday, The Government of India has officially launched a survey by the name INDIAsize. After which the market of readymade garments in India is now going to change according to India size.

Compared to the people of Europe, the physical appearance of Indians is quite different. The arms of Indians are not as long as those of Europeans. Clothes of many international brands are returned only because of wrong fitting and size, which also causes loss to the companies. All these problems will go away if they make clothes according to the height and stature of the Indians. Every year we reject 20 to 30 percent of clothes in India on the scale of fitting because they do not fit anyone and the Ministry of Textiles also understood this pain.
