According to the latest data, 37,642 new cases of the corona were registered in India. This figure has reached this high for the first time since August 13. According to government data, 34,169 were discharged after defeating Corona in the last 24 hours. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health of the country at 8 am on Wednesday, 3,22,327 people are currently undergoing treatment for coronavirus infection, which is 0.99% of the total cases.

In the last 24 hours, a total increase of 2,776 has been registered in the number of active cases. The daily infection rate is 2.10%, which is less than 3% from the last 30 days. At the same time, the weekly infection rate is 1.92%, which is less than 3% for the last 61 days. Similarly, the corona death rate i.e. death rate in the country is 1.34%. The national rate of recovery of patients i.e. corona recovery rate is currently 97.67%.

According to the data, out of 648 people who died in the country in the last 24 hours, 288 were from Maharashtra and 173 from Kerala. So far, a total of 4,35,758 people have died due to infection in the country, out of which 1,36,355 are from Maharashtra, 37,184 from Karnataka, 34,761 from Tamil Nadu, 25,079 from Delhi, 22,794 from Uttar Pradesh, 19,757 from Kerala, and 18,383 from West Bengal. Were.

It is being said that after Onam, the cases of corona in Kerala have gained momentum. However, at present, less testing is being done in Kerala for a few days. Whereas in the last three days in Kerala, less than 17,000 Covid cases were being reported daily, although before that this figure was above 20,000.

On Tuesday, 24 August, 24,296 corona cases were reported in Kerala. At the same time, 173 people died due to corona in the last 24 hours in Kerala. During this time, if we talk about the death toll of the country, 648 people died due to corona in India.

The number of infected people in the country had crossed 20 lakhs on August 7 last year, 30 lakhs on August 23, and more than 40 lakh on September 5. At the same time, the total cases of infection crossed 50 lakhs on 16th September, 60 lakhs on 28th September, 70 lakhs on 11th October, 80 lakhs on 29th October, and 90 lakhs on 20th November. In the country, on December 19, these cases had crossed one crore, on May 4 beyond two crores, and on June 23, these cases had crossed three crores.
